In A.I. 1 thru 3, all finalists lived in 1 big mansion. Each season we were given a tour. Starting last year, the show was silent about where they all lived. What happened? Were there problems at the mansion?

Last year they either stayed in apartments or hotel suites. They showed the one Bo and Connie shared. All I remember is the living room and a kitchen. I'm sure there were bedrooms but I don't remember seeing those. Kind of plain. Surely not the luxury of the mansion. My guess is they wanted to save money. I'd like to know how they got a whole apartment complex or hotel to stay mum about where they were staying.

Last year was the first time they had 29-year-old men competing alongside teenaged girls, and they probably felt it was more appropriate to place them in more isolated living conditions.
