Oh please - VFTW are just a bunch of goofs who like to think they matter, and change their 'promotion' of contestants almost weekly as their previous week's efforts fail.
This season, they initially backed Brenna and David 'The Crooner' Radford; then Bobby Bennett, then back to Brenna or Bradford, I think - then once those were gone, they started pimping Kevin 'Chicken Large' Covais and Kellie - then only Kevin. Once Kevin was eliminated, they focused on The Pickle - and unless 'she' also gets eliminated, they'll probably try to take credit for that as well.
If the site were as 'effective' as they like to think, we'd still be watching Brenna 'makin' some muh-neh', with and Kat, Paris, Chris, etc. sent packing.

Even when they were promoting Kevin, they were giving a nod to Kellie.
I think VFTW goofed on this one, not only on the nature of what TPTB wants but that I think America is following some degree of suit.
