It is really hard for me to vote for Elliott the past two weeks. The first few weeks I had little problems to vote for him. Over 90% of the calls got through. But in the past two weeks, I got busy signals most of the times. Actually it took me more than 200 calls just to give Elliott 30 votes. (By comparison, it took 26 calls to give Kellie 20 votes and 10 calls to give Bucky 10 votes.) Last week, initially I was quite happy for Elliott because I thought he would be safe. It turned out that his line was busy and but he didn't get lots of votes so he was in the bottom three. So this week, I was quite worried because I know there is something going on. Is it possible that some Nazi genius invents software to keep some lines busy and block the

NAZIS! Get real. Busy signals are mostly due to local line conditions. All over the nation nobody has had trouble getting through for Elliot because he is not popular. But if you live in a hotspot for a particular contestant then you will have trouble getting through.

Given your experience I would guess that you live in the urban northeast and not the rural south.

You are probably right. I am so sick of it. In every political competiton, stupid south always trumps smart and rightful northeast and west, although we carry much of this nation's weight.

You will continue to be outvoted for, at least, 12 more years on a federal level.

I live in the south, and I had much trouble voting for Elliott. Only about 1 call in 3 or 4 attempts made it through, for about 15 votes for him. I thought the busy signals were comforting at the time, but tonight's results showed no confirmation of that. I made no attempt to vote for anyone else.

I doubt it. As we all know, the last 2 elections were incredibly close (and the Dems weren't outvoted in 2000, in terms of popular votes - but electoral is what counts.) If the Democrats had better candidates they'd win. A shift of, what 2000 votes?, in FL in 2000 and Gore would have been elected. A shift of around 60,000 votes in Ohio and Kerry would be president now, even though he ran a poor campaign and let Bush walk all over him. Based on that, the presidential elections are pretty much open to whoever runs the best

No nothing personal. A response from you like that just discredits you. Do you dispute the facts that I posted? Are you thinking professionally or in fact from some sort of political wishful thinking? Just wondering.

I've voted for him at times. I've never gotten a busy signal, although that's usually a bad sign.

I just heard him sing that Queen song again, and that dude can flat out sing. He's been the most consisent singer in the competition, IMHO. I don't think he'll win, but it won't be because he's not talented.

Unfortunately, Elliot's likely to go next, even though he's more talented than several others that remain (Kelly and Ace come to mind).
