I thought Katherine was good

Man, seems like the judges had their minds made up before she started singing. I mean, Paula actually had something to say? That seemed scripted.

Something was really screwy seeing how she was in tone and wasn't pitchy through the entire song but that was Paula's shtick. Even Ryan makes a crack on her dress. Pimping the favored ones for the 'big Finish'??

She was good. The judges compared her to Whitney, which is silly. Personally, I've never heard Whitney's version of it. I thought Katharine did extremely well. She put more emotion into it than she has in the past and her voice was as solid as ever. I thought her work with Foster and Bocelli did her justice.

I was taken aback by their comments. I thought she was great.

My comment when she finished singing was 'She really fired all her canons with this one.'

I thought she was the best of the night. Sure, she's no Whitney (in her prime), but I thought she was great.

I had the same impression. It almost seemed as if the judges were playing up the guys and tearing into the girls. I judge the singing on how it makes me 'feel'...I got nothing from Elliott yet Paula is crying? WTH?? And aside from Katharines minor fashion faux pas (panty lines), I thought she sounded good. I figure the audience felt the same based on the major boo's Randy got.
