And Elliot had the best vocals of the night.

I agree with Simon's criticism of Chris. Queen has so many great songs that people would recognize and love to hear, why do something that obscure and boring? And to focus on a very narrow type of style. Once again he was too self indulgent.: 'So what if it's a song that no one has heard and it's boring. I hate that popular stuff and I'm just going to do my narrow thing.'

Just singing well isn't enough. Breadth of musical interest is important too in a contest of this sort. Also an understanding of what constitutes a good popular song. Chris interests are too narrow
