When Kellie started screwing up her song, Simon had his head down on the table. Is it because he couldn't believe what he was hearing? Or did he pass out from his 'happy juice'?

Isn't Bird the coach for all the female contestants? I need to re-watch again, but I thought she was there for Paris and Kellie, but not Katharine. The guy that I believe coaches the male contestants was with her. Just curious why.
